I am obliged to check my documents not to be wrong about the number of PASSAGESPOIRS and I can assert that
we are going to live the 26
edition of this monument of the TEJT under 12 tournaments !
So no need to wonder why my hair is getting whiter and whiter ! I am going to give you the reason : it’s a scoop, so
absolute discretion ! Well, if you look around you, you will notice that a lot of philosophers, just like Socrates the
greatest, wear white hair.
If you come, what I hope, you will discover a Michel Dutrey totally different from the one you know so far : it’s a
true metamorphosis, I am calmer, more thoughtful, kinder more tolerant....In short, I am attentive to people and I am
eagerly expecting you all so don’t disappoint me because you would miss a MAJOR tournament !
If many people have well understood and grant me all their trust and help, they are my partners that I will never
thank enough, that is : the Federation Française de Tennis, the Ligue de Guyenne, the Passage Town Hall, the Departmental Council of Lot et Garonne, the DDCSPP, the Agen Agglomeration (AA), and all our private partners.
So that the feast can be total, we need, as I hope, that all the French leagues be present like the previous years, with
their best players who will be able measure themselves with foreign players. In 2015, we registered 174 inscriptions
and the participation, besides the French leagues, of 15 foreign delegations with, for the first time Denmark which
didn’t come for nothing
» with the victory without losing any set of its representative : RUNE Holger Vitus
Nodskov !! He beat in the final Leo RAQUIN. As for the girls, the Belgian DI GIROLAMI Tilwith won against the
Polish Pola WYGONOWSKA.
Perhaps in the future, they will reach the level of their brilliant elders : Andy Murray (GBR), Fernando Verdasco
(ESP), David Ferrer (ESP), Marcel Granollers (ESP), Richard Gasquet (FRA), Feliciano Lopez (ESP) et Gianluigi
Quinzi (ITA), the girls are not left out with Azarenka Victoria (BLR), Kvitova Petra (RTC), Vaidosova Nicole
(CZE), Golovin Tatania (FRA), Lucie Safarova (TCH), Alissa Kleibanova (RUS), Agnès Szavay (Hon), Eugénie
Bouchard (Canada) et Kristina Mladenovic (FRA) World junior Champion in 2009.
The last season enabled us to find back a Timea Baczinski totally changed and reaching n°12 in the WTA which is
her best season so far. Another satisfaction : Quentin Halys who improved a lot.
As far as organisation is concerned, we will apply the new dispositions imposed by European authorities. For your
memory, I remind you that the deadline for inscriptions for the Passagespoirs is April 5

to Friday 29
of April for the national qualifications and on
and May 1st for the international TEJT qualifications with a sign in on Friday April 29
before 6 p.m.
The qualifying draws will not excede 32 players ans the final draw will start on May 2
This being said we hope to
welcome the best national and international under 12 year olds in order to proceed in our quest for excellence !!
As far as organization is concerned, NO PROBLEM, if sun shines, everything should unfold as usual. At the levers
the duo who has proved itself and we needn’t introduce
» Philippe Gros assisted by Jean Michel Panaget :
It’s the top of the pyramid but don’t worry, the basis is strong : volunteers who only bear the name of «
since they are «
» in their sector !
Therefore don’t forget our annual departmental tennistic rendezvous that you can’t avoid if you want to be the witness of the introduction of a few future stars of world tennis !
